Afro Asia brings Charlottesville luminaries together to dive into a high-energy funk music style that was popular in Thailand in the 1970s. Jay Pun performs on phin, a Thai stringed instrument that adds a new vibe to American funk, along with Mike Chang on electric guitar, legendary bassist Houston Ross, Ivan Orr on keyboard, and Kofi Shepsu on drums
