Giacomo Pucinni's La Bohème

Charlottesville Opera

Charlottesville Opera is pleased to present its first outdoor performance at the Ting Pavilion on the Downtown Mall.  Giacomo Pucinni's La Bohème is one of the most beloved operas of all time. Its timeless themes of love, art, and friendship are given fresh perspective with this visionary 90-minute abridged production set in the 1960's of Paris - a time of great social change led by students and young artists like the main characters of the opera. The production is directed by Stephanie Havey, conducted by Enrique Carreón-Robledo and features acclaimed singers Karen Barazza, Mackenzie Whitney, Jessica Jones, Daniel Scofield, Joseph Barron, Jeremy Weiss and Dalton Woody.
