Fridays After Five, the FREE Summer Concert Series presented by Bud Light, returns for the 38th Anniversary season of free live music, food trucks, vendors, drinks, and family fun!

5:30 - 6:15PM: Michael and the Misdemeanors

6:30 - 8:00PM: Dreamsicle the Band - Jimmy Buffett Tribute

8:00 - 8:30PM: Paint the Town Orange Pep Rally

Dreamsicle – The Classic Jimmy Buffett Tribute Experience is a high-energy tribute band celebrating the legendary music and coastal spirit of Jimmy Buffett. Blending iconic hits with beloved deep cuts, Dreamsicle recreates the carefree, tropical atmosphere that Parrotheads have cherished for decades — delivering an immersive concert experience that feels like a vacation soundtrack come to life.

Paint the Town Orange
UVA cheerleaders and spirit squad members will be present to distribute the 2026 Virginia Football poster as well as other giveaways. 

The UVA marching band and spirit squads will depart the Omni Hotel to march the Downtown Mall at approximately 7:40 p.m. Both groups will enter the Pavilion at 8 p.m. and the pep rally will feature appearances by Coach Elliott and the Virginia football team. 

Fans are encouraged to wear orange to Scott Stadium for the Cavaliers’ season opener against Norfolk State on Saturday, Aug. 29. Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m.
